Delivery and collection service on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago from the coast or central

This service delivers and collects rented bicycles on the Way of St James. It can be delivered to Porto Cathedral or to a hotel/accommodation and returned at any stage or at the end in Santiago de Compostela.

How to calculate the cost of this service

  • Choose the start date and rental days.
  • Choose quantities according to sizes. Up to 6 units.
  • Choose your delivery location, Sé do Porto or another location from the list on the Coastal or Central route.
  • Indicate hotel or accommodation and the delivery time window. You can choose delivery the day before.
  • Choose the location where you want to leave the bike, it must be a hotel or accommodation that guarantees to store the bike until we collect it.
  • If you choose to return in Santiago de Compostela, choose the Hotel or our Partners.

Choose the extra options you might need

  • 1 tool kit per two bikes is enough.
  • Padlock and helmets
  • Luggage rack, if you use your own panniers, this way we know that you want the bike to be equipped with this item.
  • If you choose the saddlebags option, you do not need to choose a luggage rack
  • Water bottles (not for hire so no need to return) this option includes the bottle rack
  • Bottle rack if you’re going to use your water bottle.

You can pre-book this service at Checkout

  • No immediate payment when closing the pre-order
  • If you are booking at least 30 days before the event
  • You then receive a partial price by email to confirm your booking
  • After partial payment the booking is confirmed

When you finalise the order even with payment, the service as requested is still not guaranteed

You should place this order at least 5 days in advance, to ensure that we have time to check the availability of bikes and sizes, or suggest changes if necessary, and to allow time for the preparation and scheduling of the delivery. If it’s to be delivered outside our shop, we’ll have to check with our delivery logistics.

    Great service. Bikes are excellent quality … (+) with a nice variety. Helmets and locks included. There’s also a pick up and drop off service for a small extra fee, which is well worth it. From the shop it’s a quick cycle to the coast and from there you can cycle along the Camino, all the way to Spain, if you have a full day to spare

    This company is fantastic! I’ve always flown … (+) with a bike and this is the first time I hired it abroad and the service has been exceptional. It’s a tailor made service. The bikes were in great, almost new condition and the sizing and help we received was so appreciated. We picked the bikes up from the shop in Povoa de Varzim and cycled them down to Vilamoura where they were picked up from our hotel. Thank you so much.

    Turisbike is a store in Povoa de Varzim, … (+) North of Portugal, specialized in renting bicycles (normal and electric ones).
    They also provide logistic support to whoever whishes to plan and make bike tours, in Portugal and Spain.
    In our case we were a group of four friends that decided to make a tour from Povoa de Varzim to Santiago de Compostela by bike. We cross two countries using four electric bikes, making a 240 km trip in four days!
    Without Turisbike support we couldn’t make it.
    They provide the bikes (excellent ones), some accessory material for the trip and they even picked us up at our destination.
