Our experience with this bike rental company … (+) in Porto was extremely disappointing. One bike was completely unusable, while several others were only partly functional. This not only disrupted our plans but also spoiled parts of our trip.
We contacted the company multiple times through WhatsApp, but they offered no real help or responsibility. The communication was frustrating, and in the end we were left to manage the broken bikes on our own.
What made the situation even worse was the owner’s attitude. He consistently denied any fault and showed no willingness to resolve the issue. A replacement bike or even a partial refund would have been reasonable, but neither was provided.
I cannot recommend this company. The poor condition of the bikes, combined with unprofessional customer service and zero accountability, made this one of the worst rental experiences we’ve had. -
Affordable rental, but there were significant … (+) issues with the bike. When they delivered the bike, they forgot to include the fix kit, which could have been a problem if something went wrong during the ride. The bicycle seat was very uncomfortable, and it was extremely difficult to adjust because the bike offered very limited options:
The seat wouldn’t go low enough to match the height I prefer, and it couldn’t be set lower than the pre-established position. Adjusting the handlebar was also very difficult, which I believe contributed to my discomfort. I did 60 kms with the bike, but the ride could have been much better if these basic adjustments were possible.
Nonetheless I’m willing to give a second try. -
Surprised! It exceeded all expectations. … (+) "By chance". We decided to make the way to Compostela by bike leaving Porto a few days before. Rui assisted us in all aspects as if we had known each other for a long time, facilitating every step of the process. He not only rented us high qualities bicycles and equipments but he shared his wisdom and expertise with us. Helping a lot in any difficulty and setback. Impressive punctuality always. We enrich not only the muscles, but also the soul. It's not just a bike store, but a place where we feel welcomed and start an adventure that will change life forever. I Recommend It!

Rui was very accommodating for our bike trip … (+) and everything went well. The tandem bike we rented was a lot of fun. An older bike, but well maintained. Would recommend as it’s a great way to enjoy the flat coastal trials and roads in the area.

Turisbike is a store in Povoa de Varzim, … (+) North of Portugal, specialized in renting bicycles (normal and electric ones).
They also provide logistic support to whoever whishes to plan and make bike tours, in Portugal and Spain.
In our case we were a group of four friends that decided to make a tour from Povoa de Varzim to Santiago de Compostela by bike. We cross two countries using four electric bikes, making a 240 km trip in four days!
Without Turisbike support we couldn’t make it.
They provide the bikes (excellent ones), some accessory material for the trip and they even picked us up at our destination.
First quality service!
